Bananal Fair

OBSERVE, SIGHT AND LISTEN

Set against the backdrop of the Atlantic Forest, the Bananal Fair is a comprehensive and free experience, running from morning to late afternoon (08:00 to 17:00). Held on the second Saturday of every month, the fair exhibits the work of producers from Paraty and the surrounding region. These producers are essential players in strengthening local family farming and artisanship, celebrating regional traditions and knowledge.

Artists exhibiting their creations in Bananal’s permanent store showcase exclusive handicrafts at the fair. Additionally, producers involved in Paraty’s Rural Producers Market and Cultivar Program offer a wide variety of fresh, organic products, including honey, bananas, legumes, heart of palm, eggs, vegetables, and jams.

The day also features live artistic performances, including orchestras, guitar music, DJs, and workshops hosted by the Projeto Saberes (Bananal Educational) program, centered on sustainable themes.

O dia conta ainda com apresentações artísticas, como orquestra, violão e DJs, e oficinas do Projeto Saberes (Educativo Bananal) conectadas a temas sustentáveis.
